People are passionate, they love to learn and to contribute and to be social. Our organizations are constantly looking for new ways to motivate employees, hire external consultants and experts to identify what's missing and get help from them. What's going on? (or what's not going on?)
People are passionate when they feel they are part of the boat, they know what's going on, they have a chance to contribute, have opportunities to try and to learn and to get feedback and when their contributions are recognized. My submission is the We-Decide Group Decision Platform which enables the organization to share with its employees its goals and needs, let the employees develop ideas to answer these goals and needs, employ a stock-market of ideas to enable people to become investors in ideas they like and co-develop them and let the community guess the value of ideas by their buying and selling behavior, then let the general community and management select these ideas, execute the selected ideas and give feedback to those that are not selected.
This will enable the community to know what's going on, to have a chance to create, to develop, to assess and to select solutions and also to develop their skills by practive and feedback. Management and community criterion will learn from each other and become alligned. Contributions and contributors will be recognized and thus incentivized. It's a open community colloborative way of running a company.
Voter absenteeism is on the rise. Gallup reports tremendous losses to the economy due to employee unengagement. Have we entered the end of engagement?
Yet, open source communities are thriving. Gaming communities are attracting millions of people. Have we entered the period of online community and collaboration?
It is clear that stakeholders demand more information, more legitamacy, more efficiency, more story, more fun, more interactivity to remain in the game. Organizations need to engage and embrace their stakeholders. As information becomes a commodity, ideas are not enough, we need better decisions, actions and commitments.
We-decide Group Decision Making platform set out to contribute to communities to develop ideas, decisions, policies together.
