I am Finance and Administration Manager, but My Country Director over rides my duties and even to make things worst, she comes to my office to do her work while am there. She almost does everything in various departments like logistics, WASH and Environment. Even she goes ahead to make plan, make decisions and authorized them in the capacity of the concerned manager. So i find it very hard to execute my duties under such a Director and she can not listen or be advised. The barrier is that every mistakes she makes, she pushes to me again all the times. She has made my work more impossible to the extent that we can not achieve targets in time and the organisation is incurring huge costs due to manipulation of roles. The manager have also lost focus and strategic direction in doing thier work. It has removes the initiation of ideas and concrete discussion of project objectives in meetings because staff are not free to exercise their rights and creativity which has resulted into reluctant heaviours amongst staff. The Board of directors should always revisit the duties of the directors while conducting performance evaluation.
