The hierarchy of current vertical management should be thrown out and the best way to describe the transition or the move to a different syle & structure is using a couple words that will hopfully lead you into the project. Organic, dynamic, organism, life, structure, rules, respect. First individualism has to go, individual pods, locations anything that seperates staff, employees. Dont worry this is not a everyone wearing white, utopia model. Once individualism is gone it will be reintroduced toward the end of the project. but for now we cannot breath life into the new model with too much individualism, All titles have to go, any indication of superiority , better office, etc. everyone has to be stripped back to all equal basis, this model will not work vertically, since any interjection from top or bottom vertical is like a spear thru the heart of the organism. Once everyone is back to an almost equal,,, ( ps you cannot do this model by taking current staff groups that exist, you have to reorganize the persons in the group also,,, if 30 people work together before the project you must mix them with others they do not know). The structure is respect, once everyone has been stripped, the model can begin and allow anyone to take lead, the natural leader will emerge, (initially it will be the unnatural leader to emerge and that person will be quickly replaced, ) as the group takes life and begins to work, the natural leader leads and then everyone will fall into place, 2nd in command, 3rd, etc. all the way to the bottom, no one will be left out, they will organize ina proper structure,, BUT , it will and can change in an instant, different tasks will bring out stronger traits and the structure will reorganize maybe for just that specific task, but maybe for other tasks as well. ( there has to be consiquences for failed challenges) some will challenge the leadership which they should but to remove any consequence is unnatural and will disrupt the model. This model will allow the strongest staff member to rise and execute the tasks require by the company and thus success is had.. Current organization of staff does not allow the strongest person per that taks to handle it... My model can change as quickly as business changes and allows the company to meet new challenges at a lightning fast.. this model change change, morphe and become an organism. Anyone can take lead at any time and respect is give for successful challenges met..
