Facilitate collaboration: when work is transparent, everyone sees all the activities on the topics relevant to them. As a result, many more collaboration options arise and sharing and collaborating increase exponentially.
Align processes and systems with company goals: when key activities are transparent and real time feedback is given, any process and system not “aligned with company goals”, is visibly apparent and can be quickly discussed and rectified
Adoption is a challange since the system has to have content in order to bring value to employees, and employees want to see value in order to use the system and contribute content.
First step is for management to set up and execution board that communicates current goals and their status. Second step is to ask key stakeholders to check this board and update on their contribution for each of the goals. Once there is enough seed content on goals and the progress the company made in regard to them, give the entire company access and watch the process expand.
