· Tenant #1: a government's
allegiance lies with those that empower it.
· Tenant #2: one's allegiance lies
in oneself.
· Tenant #3: The second tenant is
the most powerful driving force of an economy.
· Tenant #4: the manifestation of
the second tenant has led to a breed of ORCS. **ORCS: A portion of the polis
that do not adhere to the second tenant because of a lack of awareness and
education.
Ø Problem #1: unfettered capitalism leads to the exploitation of tenants #1 & #2. This is because empowering the government is an activity that promotes the second tenant. Consequently, resulting in the government's allegiance to you not the polis.
Ø Problem #2: Communism or a socialist economic base undermines tenant #2; this is because one (person who is acting) is forced to consider the interest of others as oppose to themselves in violation of tenant #2 & #3.
v Solution: Attack the first
tenant, encourage the second, and mitigate the third: by implementing the
following steps:
1. Allow one to carry out tenant #2 to the utmost,
in an effort to produce a strong economy. (must
maintain just enough checks on this step so as to keep it from undermining
or hindering solution step #2).
2. FORCE the government to maintain its allegiance
towards the polis by FORCING the polis to vote. We currently give the polis the
option to vote, the actual end result is an elected position made up of only
those that adhered to Tenant #2, leaving out the ORCS. Consequently, a system
that perpetuates the ORC plague that some members of the polis bred through its
efforts under the second tenant; these members will continue their efforts with
the help of the government who is loyal to them . FORCE the polis to attend one
day of political education prior to voting for the purposes of making the vote
meaningful.
3. FORCE any portion of the polis on government
benefits or funding, such as welfare, food stamps etc. (primarily the orcs), to
WORK or study for the purposes of finding more personally suitable WORK. The
polis should NEVER have the option to do nothing. Extracting resources from the
polis without contributing to the polis is the single worst enemy of any
economy in direct violation of Tenant #3.
4. Make the government's top priority to have work
available for the polis. An ORC not working because there is no work available
has committed no wrong to the polis, instead the government has failed the
polis. It doesn't have to be government jobs can be programs designed to give
private interest, such as construction companies engaged in public
infrastructure projects tax incentives for taking on ORCS under their
supervision. ETC. I don’t care if ORCS build colonies in the moon for our
country, the government must always have a job available for them under this
system.
5. A member of the polis who chooses not to be
self-sustainable, through work or study, shall not receive any government
benefits. Shall potentially be placed in a mandatory work camp (jail, prison,
etc.), and finally may have their membership in the polis relinquished.
A government representing the entire polis and a polis composed of
individual members that fully contribute through work or study. The end result
= a capitalism that promotes strong economy and will eventually eliminate the
ORC breed described in Tenant #4.
