I'm deeply interested in what makes people tick. I studied neuroscience and philosophy of mind. I've worked with a wide array of talented people at dynamic companies, in North America and Europe. One thing I've learned: succeeding as part of a team is incredibly motivating.
I love startups. I'm addicted to the fast pace, cohesive team environment and steep learning curve. The most fulfilling aspect of startup life, however, is when you take a step back from the frenzy and realize that you've created something that works, works well, and that will actually be useful.
My two passions outside of work are:
1. Piano. My favorite composers are Chopin and Schubert.
2. Baseball. I used to play competitively and was left fielder for the 1998 Canadian Junior champions.
Cooking is moving up the list too!
