Improve Navigation

By MIX Team on February 5, 2013

We think there are lots of opportunities to improve within the main (managementexchange.com) site. For instance, the organization of content isn’t obvious to a first-time user (what’s a hack? a moonshot?), and we could do better at linking between pages/sections (e.g., after reading a story, people may not know where else to go on the MIX). We have also begun to operate distinct sites focused on specific initiatives (www.mixprize.org for M-prizes, www.mixhackathon.org for hackathons, and www.mixmashup.org for the Mashup). We did so to optimize the user experience for those distinct initiatives, and would love your feedback on this “hub and spoke” approach.

Just wanted to second the comment that the content isn't obvious for a first-time user. I remember spending quite a bit of time exploring every page and Q&A to understand the vocabulary and structure of the site.
