- Proposed to my soulmate and wife under the Eiffel Tower in Paris, with chocolate and "fireworks" the poppers you use on New Year's Eve - and then phoned her parents from Burgundy afterwards to ask for permission. Eveyone said yes, back in 1998.
- Competed as a contestant on "Who Wants To Be a Millionaire" when Regis Philbin was hosting - and won a million dollars - in rehearsal! no such luck on the live show.
