Me In Three
- I'm drawn to a new class of challenges. Challenges that are no longer confined to a single industry, sector, or nation. Challenges in which cause and effect are no longer clear. Challenges that move at an unprecedented or even exponential speed. Challenges that overwhelm the simplistic, static, linear models of the past.
- When I look out onto the world I see a shortage of a truly planetary, long-term view - what I call a Planet Inc. view - and a resulting lack of organizational capacity to tackle global challenges. Now there are a number of challenges simmering in that long-term, "global good" space. How will we, the human race, organize to manage them? It's a greenfield. Meet me there.
- I'm all about understanding the big assumptions that drive people. Robert Kegan, the Harvard scholar says it best: do you have an assumption or does it have you?
